President and
Chief Executive Officer
Mr.
Carroll is a 12 year veteran in the wireless industry and has been
the President and CEO of WMS since September of 2005. Mr. Carroll
has previously been responsible for the Merger and Integration Team
for AT&T Mobility, leading the $5.1 billion Dobson Cellular
acquisition integration. Previously he ran Roaming and International
Operations for AT&T Mobility. He also led the planning,
architecture, and deployment of ~50 systems to 60,000 end-users for
Cingular Wireless. While with AT&T Wireless, Mr. Carroll was
responsible for all IT systems and services for 3 SBUs. While with
Vanguard Cellular Systems, Mr. Carroll was accountable for all
customer facing systems for the enterprise. He is a graduate of
Virginia Tech and has received executive education at Harvard
Business School, MIT, IMD, Wharton Business School, and Wake Forest
University.
Vice Chairman, Cellport Systems, Inc.
Mr. Quartner is a commercial attorney with over twenty
years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry. He
began his telecommunications career in 1985 with McCaw Cellular
Communications (now AT&T Wireless) and was involved in a wide
variety of financial transactions, joint ventures and acquisitions.
In 1997, Mr. Quartner joined XO Communications serving in a similar
capacity, and also joined Cellport Systems, Inc. as Vice Chairman
and General Counsel. Mr. Quartner served as a Director of American
Mobile Satellite Corporation (now Motient) for twelve years.
Since 2002, in addition to his position with Cellport Systems, Mr.
Quartner has served as an outside advisor to several
telecommunications companies, including Maritime Telecommunications
Network and its affiliates, and is of counsel with Friedman Kaplan
Seiler & Adelman LLP in New York.
Mr. Quartner holds a BA degree from Yale University and a JD from
Columbia University.
Vice President
of Finance for AT&T Mobility
Mr. Jones oversees financial planning and analysis for
AT&T Mobility and is responsible for field operations in 27 markets.
In 1991 Mr. Jones joined Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems in the
financial planning department. Subsequently, Mr. Jones served as
Vice President of Finance and Operations for multiple markets. Starting in 2000, with the formation of Cingular Wireless, Mr. Jones
served as Regional CFO for markets in the Central part of the
country and later for the Western half of the country. In 2005,
Mr. Jones took over Financial Planning for Cingular Wireless/AT&T
Mobility. In 2008, Mr. Jones began serving as Vice President of
Finance for AT&T Mobility.
Mr. Jones holds a BBA
degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Jones
currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Founding Partner of Ignition Partners
Mr. Anderson is a founding partner of Ignition. He invests in enterprise data and applications companies
and represents Ignition as director on the boards of Full Capture Solutions, MarketRange, Jobster and N'Site Solutions. Jon is a former board member of Wildseed which was acquired by AOL.
Prior to Ignition, Jon spent nine years at Microsoft Corporation in several strategic roles, advising the company's executive management on overall business strategy, guiding such key issues as enterprise licensing and pricing, financing and P&L management. Most recently he led a team responsible for development and execution of Microsoft's volume licensing programs, an $8 billion business, negotiations of licensing agreements with Microsoft's largest customers and the enhancement of core product business and licensing models and creation of business models for emerging products.
Jon also served as General Manager of Worldwide Business Strategy
for Steve Ballmer and as Corporate Controller. Jon led the creation
of the company's current P&L, measurement and competitive reporting
systems. Jon led efforts that made changes to business models for
core products that lead to multi-billion dollar profit
contributions.
Jon
led or was a core member of the teams leading company acquisitions
including FoxPro, Visio, Microsoft's first email product, Microsoft
Mail, and the company's proposed merger with Intuit.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Jon was a CPA and Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche, where he served as an advisor to companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to new technology start-ups.
Mr. Anderson attended the University of Oregon and received his degree in business administration from Central Washington University.
